Why bilingualism from an early age?

Practicing two languages stimulates brain plasticity. Bilingual children often develop a better ability to concentrate, greater ease in problem-solving, and excellent working memory.
By learning that "pomme" can also be said "apple" or "elma," a child quickly understands that there are different ways to see and describe the world. This is the first step toward becoming a global citizen.

Introducing a child to the sounds of another language from an early age greatly facilitates the learning of additional languages later on.
It's a precious gift.

Our story

My name is Ada, I am a doctor and a mother.
Born in Belgium to a Turkish father and a Lithuanian mother, my existence has been shaped by a true journey through the European linguistic landscape.
Today, with my French husband, our home is the very illustration of a joyful multilingual crossroads.
When our child was born, we had a revelation: transmitting this rich linguistic heritage should not be an effort, but a source of joy!
Word Bridge was born from this idea.
Our goal is to help all families—whether bilingual or not—to make language learning a fun and shared family experience.

Come, let's build bridges between languages and generations,
one word at a time!
