What is the ideal time to learn a language?

The earlier you start, the easier it is. And it's no coincidence!

1. A "sponge" brain

Between 0 and 6 years old, the brain is particularly receptive. At this age, children absorb sounds and grammatical structures with astonishing ease.

2. Absence of barriers

Unlike adults, young children are not afraid of making mistakes. They test, repeat, and express themselves without any psychological blocks or fear of judgment.

3. Physical flexibility

Furthermore, young children's vocal cords are still very flexible. This physiological suppleness allows them to reproduce accents and new syllables with natural precision.

And after 6 years, is it too late?

Absolutely not! While children learn through immersion, adults learn through strategy.

Thanks to a better ability to concentrate and a logical understanding of rules, an adult can progress very quickly. The secret no longer lies in brain plasticity, but in regularity and the enjoyment of playing.

In summary: The best time to start is childhood. The second best time is today.

Playing also remains the best tool for practicing without realizing it, regardless of age ;)
